A Professional Biography

Educational Path



Dr. Hashim has devoted tremendous amounts of time, energy and financial resources to develope his clinical skills and to bring latest technologies in his clinical armamentarium. He has strong beliefs in continuing education for himself and his entire staff.


While staying in a private practice environment, Dr. Hashim completed further training in Ambulatory Anesthesia at Miami Valley 

Dr. Shabbir M. Hashim practices Dentistry in Toledo, Ohio at Toledo Dental Arts, which he founded in 1994.  His practice provides services in family dentistry, fillings, crowns and bridges, dentures, dental implants, and tooth whitening.


​Dr. Hashim maintains a license in conscious sedation, and always maintains a current status in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.​

Personal Life and Interests

Dr. Hashim has lived in Sylvania, Ohio fot the past 20 years.  He enjoys international travels, riding motorcycles, electronics and computers.

Serving Toledo since 1994


Dr. Hashim has been established in Toledo, Ohio in Septmenber 1994, where he founded Toledo Dental Arts.  Facing challenges of day to day practice, he continues to seek education in current technologies and trends for the benefit of his patients..

​Dr, Hashim grew up in Fremont, Ohio and graduated from Ross High School in 1979. He continued 

college education at Kent State University and continued his undergraduate education at Ohio State University, where he received his bachelor's degree in 1984. He then joined the College of Dentistry at OSU for the doctorate program. After 

Hospital ​in Dayton, OH in 1992. Dr. Hashim also completed a mini-residency program in Implantology at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn New York and New York University in 1993.

Clinical Scope.

receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1989, he completed two years in post-doctorate training in Advanced General 
Dentistry Residency ​at the University Hospitals and College of Dentistry at Ohio State University.
